Story: Leontine is up to no good as usual, this time causing chaos with nothing more than some simple lengths of string. She uses the string to trick people, cause pratfalls, damage to property, and more, as she delights in one prank after another. But will she get away with all of her troublemaking this time or will the angry mob finally catch up with Leontine?

Entertainment Value: I loved this short and the magic of Leontine is so obvious here, with an energy and a glee that is rare even in slapstick cinema. The unknown actress who brought Leontine to life is excellent in this short and has such an undeniable charisma on screen, not to mention she seems to take so much pleasure from tormenting those around her. Her facial expressions are fantastic and her body language is just as impressive, dancing and jumping for joy as her pranks unfold. Leontine doesn’t just get into mischief, she takes immense joy indulging in her chaotic adventures. This is simply a wonderful short that offers some slapstick gold, a true gem and a great look at Leontine’s manic screen presence.
